9/13/2001 We created this site to both help us grieve and pay tribute to a great man and family. When we loose something of value, we can better appreciate what we have, and once had. Pete was a person I respected a great deal. I will miss his friendship and advice dearly. My tribute will be to live my life to its fullest as the multiple examples Pete exhibited. I am fortunate to know Pete, and I smile with that thought!

9/13/2001 A nice memory that comes to mind...When my wife Amy and Sue met, they hit it off instantly being Korean-Americans. I remember them talking about "hoppa babies(?)" (aka Korean/American).

9/13/2001 My thoughts on Peter: A caring, thoughtful friend who always treated me and everyone around him well. I can still remember the funny stories he would have for us and the goofy nicknames he gave me for being either in the military, or spending too much time in the gym or whatever. I met his wife and daughter at Axis when Christine was only a few months old. They were all special people and will be missed. May they rest in Peace.

9/13/2001 I am only one of the many faculty who have watch Sue flourish as a graduate student in our program. While her success as a scientist was impressive in and of itself, we all remember Sue for her perpetual enthusiasm, dedication to her research, willingness to help others, effervescent good humor, and devotion to her family. As the horrors of this tragedy continue to unfold, the scenes on TV seem beyond belief. However, the image of Sue and her family caught up in the chaos of these events is the picture most difficult to accept. Surely Sue set the bar, and is the role model that our students will seek to emulate for many years to come!

9/13/2001 I will always remember Pete's determination in whatever he was to do. He was a great salesman with fire in his eyes. However, that did not compare to the pride and love for his wife and daughter. Peace be with him and his extended family.

9/13/2001 The one thing that sticks out in my mind was the excitement on Pete's face when he learned that Walgreens could use the Axis Protocol converters in their stores. I remember the day that he won the account and said that they would be putting an AXIS print server in every store. He was excited that they planned to open over 350 new stores that year. I will never be able to walk by a Walgreen's without thinking of him.

9/13/2001 The picture of the three of them says it all, a truely loving, close and happy family. May God hold them in the palm of his hand.

9/13/2001 The second memory was when Christine was born. He was such a proud father and he had many pictures to share. He stopped smoking and bacame such a devoted father. When Sue brought Christine into the office he carried her around touting his pride for her. Such an admirable quality to have. Peter was a bright intelligent and fun person. You could always get a laugh out of him even when you were in disagreement.

9/13/2001 I would like to share a memory or two. The first one was when Les Yetton asked me to talk to Peter about his wardrobe. Pete and I sat down and were laughing about how he always had a spot of food on his T shirts. The conversation turned to that of dressing like an executive. Peter was so serious about changing his image that he kept asking me what types of clothing he should wear. Two weeks later he came to my office sporting a new jacket shirt and slacks. He looked very dapper and we laughed; he proceeded to tell me that he went to Bloomingdales and hired a personal consultant and invested in a whole new wardrobe. From that point on Peter dressed as an executive. We had many laughs as he wore new jackets ties shirts etc. He was very proud of his new image and I felt good that we could all laugh over the t shirts he used to wear.

9/13/2001 One of the most favorable memories was an almost daily routine to sit in the Directors chair in his office surrounded by Airplane models and ticket stubs from past trips playing cards or watching one of his many card tricks Pete was truly a mentor and a leader for all that knew him.
